1. Clarke needs to have a place in an Obama administration. I suggest national security adviser. |
|
I can think of no one more qualified. The man is an American hero, on the level of a George Ball. And that is high praise indeed.

I miss Rachel.
"Race to the whitehouse" is jus another one of those stupid pretenious political talk shows were no one is "right". Even with Rachel on it I barely listen to it. When I do I get a little pissed that Rachel keeps herself on a short leash instead of tearing off everyones stupid head when they even try to explain that mccain has a plausible (fill in the blank) for what ever (fill in the blank) problem.

4. Bender seems like a nice guy. But, I don't listen to Rachel's show to get |
|
movie reviews. Oy vey and that first hour is totally unlistenable with "race to the whitehouse". Why do they consider that progressive radio?

5. Clarke does an excellent job of explaining Obama's good judgment. |
|
The media has been so wrapped up on talking about his so called "flip-flopping" on his position, while he has never changed on Iraq. I have always worried how Obama would play with his "let's think about this" approach in a place of sound bites. It is good to see Clarke correct the record.

6. Thanks for posting these Maddow Countdown clips. |

Rachel is the most important political commentator in my world. Her penetrating mind synthesizes facts in a way that makes it clear that she understands the subject, when she's interviews her guests. It's plain awesome that she understands the camera so well.

13. I watched this interview last night and ... |
|
I had to say finally someone is speaking for obama and said what needs to be said and explains it where the uniformed can understand. During the primaries I began getting angry when they kept asking Obama to explain and kept saying he was nuanced.
I noticed everytime he explained or said what he would do in a particular situation Bush and the republicons began doing what Obama had said previously and the media continues to pretend as though they don't know what Obama is saying, also they keep pretending not to know that either candidate can say what they want about it but they can't say exactly what they will do because they don't know what the situation will be on the ground.
One thing I do know is that Obama will change the strategy and tactics, while McCain will begin making it worse and will attack Iran if Bush doesn't do it before he leaves office..
