3. "That ain't supposed to be funny. It's satire." RIGHT!
All those people who got upset when I said "nobody reads the New Yorker" would probably agree with that point. And Jackie and Dunlap hit their heads on the nail when they said this.

4. Satire isn't just sarcasm. There's supposed to be wit involved.
Red State Update is satire. Steven Colbert is satire.

"Obama is a muslim who'll burn the American Flag" is tiresome whether it's sincere or snarky.

11. I feel stupid for asking, but
were those other cartoons real or did Dunlap just make them up? They didn't seem all that funny, especially the one with the knives in the back.

I'm guessing that the boys changed the captions.

I was driving through Tennessee last week and heard these two on the radio live doing their schtick with a local radio host. They were hilarious as usual.

13. LOL... those cartoons were just wrong.
I love RSU... They've gotten so good at those characters in the last 2 years.

15. I may buy it too
...and not because I'm a big fan of country music parodies. My one motivation is knocking Mylie Cyrus out of the number #1 spot for CD sales. :)
