5. hehe. yeah, kinda shows the silliness of it all doesn't it?
When you see it from a distance like that. I can't tell the difference between a person whose ethnically chinese and mongolian, but apparently its some big thing. From a distance though, in the big picture, you can see how much we're really all alike and racism is a goofy small minded thing.

8. Actually, a foreign student from China explained to me years
ago that China actually has many different ethnic and racial groups. It's huge. So, I wonder if they are trying to exclude Westerners and Africans from the bars. This does not make sense.
Maybe some local bigot made these comments. The Chinese have participated in Olympics in the past. Surely they government knows that people of all different races will attend and expect to be served with courtesy and treated with respect. There has to be a misunderstanding.

9. China was known as the "all-inclusive" nation because it was
high in many racial and ethnic groups. It still is. However, Western influence has changed the tide. This is the same issue in Korea. Korean restaurants have signs that say they will not serve Nigerians.

11. Western influence is NOT to blame for Chinese racism
Shame on you. The Han ethnic Chinese have been racist since they built the Great Wall to keep out the Mongols. Ask the Turkic peoples of western China if they blame the West or the Han Chinese for racial problems there.

10. I don't know how seriously I take this. The Olympics is a muli-racial group with Blacks included
so that would be absurd, not to mention that the nation has a good amount of Black peoples.

14. How did blacks wind up in china anyway?
Were they in china since ancient times? Arrived there via the slave trade in the middle ages? Or are they Maoists in exile? Seriously, I wanna know.
