30. A good answer to that remark is to tell them that because he is the

first black President he is going to want to do the best he can for everyone. He knows he is going to be judged by what he does and leaving out half the country would hardly make him look good. he says it like a gangsta. I don't see anything wrong with that, actually I like it and thought that it was pretty damn cool to see a politician connect with someone on a personal level like that.

streets of Chicago. He says it like someone using ethnic or street slang. That does not equal "gangsta." To suggest that it does is ignorant and insulting to many people. Your post feeds the stereotypes the right wing is trying to spread about Obama.

I agree it was cool to see Obama connect like he did. And I like it too. I believe you are not a troll, but I think you made a poor choice of words.

but I don't necessarily agree with it. To me there is nothing derogatory in referring to someone as "keeping it gangsta" or "G'd up from the feet up" or any other slang term... I think that suggesting that it is an insult is a bit out of touch with the "youth of today"... but thats just my opinion.

I apologize if I offended you or anyone else that finds the term "keeping it gangsta" insulting.

8. every time I see coverage of this trip I hear

a bit of the song "Rainbow tour" from Evita in my head. These same words over and over, it never goes to the rest of the song and I have my fingers crossed that Obama's theme ends with these words and does not play out like the song. I love Evita, but don't want the sadness for Obama.
