McCain Loses His Own Argument: He Hedged On The Surge In 2007 |

Salon.com in Feb 2007: By simultaneously endorsing the surge and harshly criticizing certain aspects of the Bush plan as potentially disastrous, McCain appears to be hedging his bets should the surge fail. "He is looking for an exit strategy if it does not work," said Stephen Wayne, a political science professor at Georgetown University. and the war paying for itself and it being a short war and all the comments we can find of his that turned out not to have happened.
Then we'll talk about how to walk back from the worst foreign policy decision this country has ever made.
