Wes Clark sent this video message to the attendees at the last Draft Wesley Clark Meetup in September '03. He knew that after this one we'd either be having Clark '04 Meetups or none at all.

I remember John Hlinko being so excited because this was the first time the guys behind the draft had actually met Wes and they were bowled over. Before this, the whole thing was totally based on faith. They could have met him and he could have been an asshole. But Hlinko said he was all they expcted him to be and much more.

John also said that Wes recorded this off the cuff and in one take. "He's that good!" Hlinko proclaimed.

Ah, brings back memories....Wasn't long after this that we actually had our candidate....
