3. Roger Waters is magnificent, of course

Hell, if you've got the time I can recite pretty much everything from Wish You Were Here through Amused to Death verbatim, including his work on When The Wind Blows.

I've loved The Final Cut since the first time I heard it, but the videos for it are IMO awful. Plodding, ponderous, and mildly pretentious. Of course, it's not as though the artform had found its stride by the time TFC was released, but from the vantage of a quarter century later, they're almost unwatchable.

But the music! The lyrics! God damn, what an album!
