6. public speaking observations

I like the clips where he bounces up and down and acts like he's a talk show host or some type of entertainer. Then scrambled syllables and other miscellaneous speech forms tumble out of his mouth and he looks genuinely befuddled at how inarticulate he is. Sometimes he just makes up words on the spot: "Recruitaments." LOL.

In so many of these clips, people are laughing at him, but perhaps some of it has a laugh track? It appears he is the object of derision in many of his speaking situations.

He stutters, he stops; he says "uh" an amazing amount of the time he's on the speaker's podium.

He's at his most pathetic when unscripted. "Anybody here got three kids? Four kids?" Then says he doesn't know why he asked it and then remembers.

He is completely unbelievable when he's trying to pass himself off as cool. He sounds like a 13-year old when he talks about the celebrities with whom he dined. When he says he likes to put country-western music on his EYE-POD, it sounds like he's never even said the word before, let alone listened on one.

There are numerous clips of him wiping his nose with the back of his left finger. Interestingly, that is not just a crude gesture. Depending on the context, it can be a gesture indicating a lie. "Sniff out my lie."

The jerk has had six years to learn how to speak in public on a national and world forum--and he still hasn't come anywhere close to competency, let alone mastering the art.

Bush has spoken more words in his 6 years in the White House than I have in 25 years of teaching, yet he still comes across as though English is his second language.

on purpose.
His "folksy" manner is actually a purposeful contempt of their intelligence for his hand picked crowds.

They ,being ignorant of reality say to themselves, well hell, he's just like us, we stutterer and stammer, get our facts messed up, our thought processes are just like his.

Looks to me like a combination of having a huge amount of contempt for the audience, being drunk half the time, and trying to deal with everything that is coming into his ear piece.

Seems sometimes when he studers he is waiting for someone to finish talking, but no one is speaking.

Not to mention the coke-jaw, evil winks and nose picking.

How pathetic.
