In this episode, while travelling back in time, the crew accidentaly materialize in the Texas Schoolbook Depository, knocking Oswald out of the window and saving President Kennedy. After jumping forward three years to escape the police, they find that Kennedy has been impeached and imprisoned for his affairs, and new President J Edgar Hoover has brought the world to the brink of nuclear war.

They decide the only way to get back home is return and make sure the assassination goes ahead.
