6. McCain claims he wanted more regulation on Wall Street

He's putting out the meme he sponsored regulation to "bring some oversight to Fannie and Freddie." but it got voted down.

I guess his supporters really think it had a chance. The same guy who was in the Keating 5 and brags to be a *Reagan anti-regulation disciple? The same guy who says he'll clean up health care with deregulation like he did the financial world?

Do his backers really believe a Keating 5 member would clean up anything on Wall Street?

* - I just want to know why he claims the mantel of a Reaganite when the Reagans completely dropped him after he ditched his pre-war wife for a new richer shinier model.
