2. It is worth repeating--stay away from nutritional protein supplements until they are tested.

These sports protein powders are all made with "milk proteins" and right now the industry is relatively unregulated. Body builders have been aware of a link between increased protein intake and kidney stones for years. It just never occurred to them that someone in China might be adding plastic to the milk that was being used to make their protein powder.

3. Melamine Found In Protein Powder

We consume protein powders and nutrition bars to help with strength training so it never occured to me to be concerned until you mentioned this. I just googled and found this recent article. I guess it's not going to be safe to eat any processed foods anymore, since none of us know the source of the ingredients for the products produced.
