5. DING DING DING! Krkaufman, you're our grand prize winner!
McCain was...a filibustering coward during...this segment.

Shame on him, trying to take Jon on a guilt trip by yammering about the "pride" of the soliders and the "sacrifice" of their families! What has that got to do with being overdeployed and underequipped by their commander-in-chump, and out-compensated by the mercenaries? Cheers to the audience for booing! Disgraceful!

2. "We are where we are".
:wtf: Is that McCain's foreign policy! :grr: McCain came across as a total fucking idiot in that piece, as clueless as the day is long. Three cheers for Stewart standing up to the smarmy bully and not caving like our so called "legitimate media".

Gee, soldiers tell McCain "all the time" about how they believe in what they're doing. :puke: What do you expect them to say to a Presidential candidate, a member of the Senate, a war hawk, in the presence of their superior officers and members of the press? OF FUCKING COURSE they're going to say what YOU want to hear, what their superior officers want to hear, what the media wants to hear.
How fucking stupid IS this man? :banghead:

Another one that's "too stupid to be President". Stick a fork in McCain, he's DONE! Freaking jackass.

4. Wasn't there a poll in Military Times or
something that showed a majority of 'in country' military thought this whole thing was a mess and though they should be redeployed?

6. "A (12/06) poll of 6,000 military personnel, published in the Military Times
showed that only 35 percent of troops approve of President Bush's handling of the war, down from 63 percent in 2004. Thirteen percent of respondents said that the United States should not even be in Iraq."
