5. What I find interesting in all this oil talk is how much importance we put on foreign oil.

But the word foreign is used as a pejorative as if to demonize middle eastern oil.
If we hadn't screwed everything up over there for decades and decades we wouldn't have be a$#holes about it.
Since we get most of our oil from Canada of all places, I wonder how they feel about the constant talk of evil "foreign oil" when it has been our ally through thick and thin for as long as we were a nation.
