14. Did he put his arm around her back? That may have been unwelcome.
She may have felt intimidated. Or maybe she was just shy. She did not look happy.

17. She may just loath him.
It's a natural reaction. I know I gave him a look like that when I met him.

11. Pretty much says it all.
The common con-com can't stand the sack of human waste. Only the officers and "safe desk staff" support this prick.

What an embarrassment to the United States.

6. God, what a cretin, what a clod, what an oaf ! ! !
The way shrub shoved himself in among those troops was just embarrassing.

They didn't look too pleased to have to pose with dumbass!

I suppose dubya was oblivious though. Sigh

8. That was hilarious. Reminded me of decidedly uncooperative British troops
in some Blair photo-ops in Iraq, glaring at him and the camera.

Of course, he then had to set up some snaps with troops beaming!

12. Blair
Dont suppose you would know the where abouts of those pictures by any chance? It allways amazes me that politicians go anywhere near soldiers; youve got a group of mostly young people, who, for the job they are doing, are probably being underpaid (the british system is somewhat of a labrynth), are generaly being crapped on by said politicians, and all have access to guns, which they know how to use, any bets on how nervous shrub and the poodle were everytime they went near the troops? :D

15. He always had to sneak into Iraq unannounced.
40 years ago, while on a government paid vacation in a tropical paradise, I had a Zippo lighter engraved with the following: "Hitler is alive and in the White House."

25. It was published in the Daily Mail, who have a visceral hatred of him
because he stole their clothes, everything but the most outlandish aspects of their fabled stupidity. But the photo was a gem. I cut it out, but can't capture it to disk or transmit it. I looked to see if I could find it on their website, but to no avail. Somethings that the Mail or the "authorities" deem too sensitive, they seem to keep for exclusively domestic consumption.

13. K&R. Priceless. However, when he spoke at West Point today, he got a lot of applause and laughs...
Said the most important part of his job is that of their Commander in Chief...x(

BTW, my cousin is a West Point graduate and I know that he voted Democratic in at least the last two elections...

18. Song with a similar attitude toward the Commander In Chief
Watching this reminded me of a song I did a few years ago about a soldier's attitude re the Prez. Take a listen if you like:

19. No love for the Deserter-in-Chief there. When he spoke at West Point his lame-ass joke
about not bringing the Commander-in-Chief trophy got a begrudging laugh, but what do you expect from all the brainwashed officers-to-be who eat, breathe, and sleep loyalty to the Prez?

23. Anyone who has been deployed and just returned home...
does not wish to be a part of some stupid photo-op, regardless of whom the visitor is...they want to go home to their families, not stand around in some absurd formation that they are ordered to be present at. bush has to be the most despised CiC in history, beating Johnson and Nixon by light years.

I was stationed at Wiesbaden when Carter flew in, I met him after the ceremony. Nice guy, but I, and everyone else in the 4th Bde(Forward) of the 4th Div, would rather have been in Baumholder crawling through he mud as opposed to standing there for a couple of hours wondering when we'd get the chance to take a leak again...:eyes:

Everyone in that formation, knew someone who had been killed in Iraq...they were a brother or sister in arms, they were being shoved aside by a creature who had gone AWOL from his own service...the disgust was apparent on every face in that group.
