This TPMTV interview with Scott Horton of Harper's reveals that the Obama transition team asked him 'penetrating' questions about his December article on torture in the Bush administration, and implies that Obama's focus in the matter will be process and timing.

I, for one, envision this issue as being slowly but surely hammered home for the next decade, after an initial banning and re-illegitimizing. Torture needs to become quintessentially un-American, in mythos and law, forever.
