3. God, how we've waited in pain and misery for this man!!

We have suffered through some of the most miserable and embarrassing years with this dimwit and his "friends" ruining our country. We DESERVE better. I don't think it is possible for ANYONE to do worse....and I honestly hope this man is true to his word and FOR THE COUNTRY.....NOT the wealthy alone.

We need this man.....20 days and counting!!

5. Gotta agree with Avlon

The GOP is in an all-white bubble (even Blackwell, who cast his lot with the party of Helms some time ago).

It is fair game if the Republicans want to criticize Obama for what he does, even if he's right and they are wrong. That is what the opposition is supposed to do, and they should do it. But to criticize Obama for being black (or bi-racial) is way out of line. Jim Crow and Jesse Helms are dead. Bury each with a stake through his heart.

The GOP should be smarter than to marginalize itself with die-hard racists. But I think the party will need a couple or three more shellackings before that gets through to them.
