This is an aid worker from Norway. He is also a doctor explaining the reality in Gaza and what is happening to the Palestinians.

2. And the things that Israel wants from Palestine
are being sorely abused and polluted in the process.

The disproportionate use of force and the killing of civilians is outrageous. I am going to point out here that palestine is not a state, does not have an army, and therefore all of the deaths are civilians. This is a crime against humanity.

6. If there are crimes against humanity, which I think there are...
... then Israel and it's leaders, as the occupiers, are legally responsible.

7. Yes, of course.
That is the point.

Morally, the US has some responsibility since they are supplying weapons to Israel, but it is Israel that is using them against their neighbours.

Bombing a prison. What a succinct way to describe these airstrikes. I hope that this can inspire Obama to take a more evenhanded approach to this conflict come Jan 20th, and the west as a whole to take more seriously the criminal nature of Israel's actions in Gaza and the West Bank. No doubt Hamas has committed its own crimes, but the MSM and our Western governments are only too quick to decry Hamas' actions as those of a "terrorist organization," and to jump to defense of the Israeli government.

I ask you: with Hamas being an elected government, has ever the line between terrorist group and belligerent nation-state been more blurred? How then do we define our own roles in Afghanistan, Iraq, and elsewhere?
Should this conflict not shift the boundaries of our definitions to a point where our governments must take a stand on the side of either the Israeli people or their Palestinian counterparts (hopefully neither), rather than their governments? I have a suspicion that I already know where the chips will fall...

It seems like we, with our all-powerful governments and militaries, are stuck in the middle of a PR war on this side of the Atlantic, while families are being blown to bits in Israel and Palestine. Truly modern warfare, eh?

8. Yes it's a terrible situation
But, it's one of a 1000 different messes the US people have to be aware of.
Keep an eye on any politician who sees this as an urgent crisis.

Israel is a big boy now. Let them work out their own fate.

9. The current criminal regime has been wanting "mini nukes" for years
It sounds like they're actually testing them on a civilian population. Yet another war crime to be added to the most heinous list of atrocities ever committed by the U.S..
