3. If I were imprisoned and tortured for years I would also

return to battle. Of course if the war were over there would be no need to return to battle. During WWII we treated the German prisoners so good that they did not want to return to Germany. Perhaps we should not have tortured the Muslim prisoners. I guess that is just a foolish thought.

They're playing the fear card as usual. Unfortunately, it often works. The antidote is good information.

The problem is that the statement "61 returned to the battlefield" makes a good sound byte, while the explanation of the truth takes a little more time and thought.

We need some good rhetorical techniques to combat this problem.
