If I remember correctly, Mukasey refused to enforce the democratic majority in congress' subpoenas. Before that, conyers didn't even have power to issue subpoenas, so he could only have informal hearings with witnesses willing to show up.

The UN to prosecute. It would give President Obama a chance to still do what he wants and go forward instead of back. Let the world judge. This war on terror was worldwide so let the world handle it. One less expense for us too. And while the trial is going on put a cage in Ground Zero and put Bush/Cheney and the rest in it and let people spit on them or throw shoes.
