There is stumbling over words and then there is slurred speech. Slurred speech edited together with more slurred speech is still slurred speech.

Also...did you catch that quick shot of Candy Crowley...she looked pissed off. Having to be doing a live on-air hit with someone who is drunk would give me that look too.

There's no way he was like that when I saw it live. Also, you can hear the music sounding like a warped record, they've slowed it down and deliberately edited the whole thing.
