Hangover? She hasn't gotten to the hangover stage yet -- she's still in the smashed phase.

1. Are we sure she is not dealing with some sort of physical issue

that is more organic than a few drinks? Sounds like some people who have had strokes, brain injuries, degenerative conditions as well as drunks. :shrug: Maybe not as healthy as she used to be?

3. When reading your post, I was reminded of Jessica Savitch's 1983 incident

on a late-night weekend report where she was incoherent & slurring her words. My first impression then was that she had a medical condition, but we found out later that it was drug abuse.

2. Maybe she went to an Inauguration Party? Hell, the poor woman gets up at THREE every morning.

Let her show up stewed every so often....and I hope that was the case, and not something more serious.

Either that, or she had a very mild stroke and is ill served by her staff and the camera/sound people around her.

She seemed to be using her left hand with no problem, but she was leaning on that column supporting her right side. If the stroke affects the right side, that means it hits the left side of the brain, which is where the language centers are, which could account for the bit of a drunken slur.

At first, I thought she might just be very cold since that first shot was outdoors. But then she was slurring inside and leaning against that post a little crazily.

Hope she's ok. this just doesn't look good...

7. Wow! I saw a lot of her

on Inauguration and she was literally gushing about everything..but, not slurring. I don't know what's going on but she seems more like she's in party mode than anything.

She's been around for a long time and whatever she's doing.. she looks good.
