1. Blagojevich & Imported Prescription Drugs
After watching Governor Blagojevich on "The View" this morning, I learned that because his Illinois state officials have not sufficiently promoted the "I-SaveRx" foreign prescription program, its Canadian supplier has pulled out of the agreement. To fill the gap, a new Canadian company, Genesis Health Group (www.genesishealthgroupinc.com) has been established to help Illinoisans, other interested American consumers and organizations (i.e., companies, counties, unions, nonprofit organizations) to access low-cost and safe foreign drugs. Check it out and see if you can save some of your hard-earned money.

3. I feel like I wasted 8 minutes of my precious time
To hear him say "I didn't do anything wrong" which we've heard a million times before.

4. worth posting...maybe not worth listening... but posting for posterity, fine
But to summarize for those who have better things to do:
Blago is toast, that is settled, and in any event
this interview really didn't help him.

6. I disagree...
I thought he made valid points. Assuming what he said is correct, it sounds like justice is being denied. The only thing that I felt hurt him was his constant 'touching' of the womans legs while talking--that body language was too much I thought.

8. No, he could have brought witnesses, but didn't call them before the deadline.
Similarly, he had the right to argue for his innocence, but failed to show up for the hearing, preferring to go on "The View" to arguing his case.

If you were charged with a crime, would you argue your innocence on "The View," or in front of the jury? Blagojovich blew off the jury, the Illinois State Senate, to make a show biz appearance.

And, if I were Whoopie, I would have slapped him for pawing me like that.

5. Fight the power Blago!
This was a setup from day 1 by the GOP to get a special election in IL to try to get a Repub into Obama's seat, and to establish the media meme for the next 8 years, Illinois is the new Arkansas, the source of all corruption and lack of ethics in the world.

Notice how no full transcripts are released, no tapes, no evidence, NO INDICTMENTS. They cannot charge him with anything criminal because he did nothing criminal. The only way to hang him now is to revoke his constitutional rights to a defense by having a political show trial.

Tell that to the sick kids who were denied care and medicine when he turned down funding for the Children's Hopsital without a huge contribution to his campaign fund from the chairman of the hospital.

You don't live here and this has nothing to do with tinfoil hat conspiracy theories. He's as dirty as they come, and his narcissism and arrogance in blowing off what rights he DOES have responding to the allegations to the senate tell you everything you need to know about his belief that NO law or procedure applies to him. They can't compromise evidence in his impeachment trial when there's a Federal investigation relying on it. Go learn criminal justice to understand it has nothing to do with his grandstanding. His lawyers here have backed down because he can't afford to pay them and because he will not listen to them about these insane media appearances that will bite his ass later.

Here in Illinois we call him Governor Dead Man Walking and hope he gets to share a cell with our other scumbag GOP governor who got to prison before him, George Ryan.

12. P.S.
Our Lt. Governor Quinn is a Democrat also so there's no chance of the GOP "taking control" in this conspiracy theory.

14. awww I wanted Oprah to be my senator! How about Roger Ebert? I bet he
felt slighted. They both got enough money to buy the seat.
