For all the Bushies who think that Gitmo should remain open - this former Military Prosecutor explains that the case files are a shambles and that there IS NO EVIDENCE against many who've been held there and mistreated for years - including some who are children.

1. Bushco just locked people up to give the impression that they were tough on terror.

I've heard several times wingnut pundits refer to the Guananamo detainees as "terrorists." It's all a game to them. They have no problem with making an example of an innocent person just to make them feel safe.

2. If there are no charges, no files, no evidence, then let them go

and make it up to them financially.

How many of these prisoners will want to seek revenge is anyone's guess. Bush has created more terrorists than he's legally prosecuted.
