Rush Limbaugh just says some of the many things that they are all thinking. No matter how racist or hateful they are, he is able to say it because, welll....., he is a hateful racist fat fuck. He is not alone, many of the public faces of the party are the same way. The reason that you never hear an apology for any public statements, why?... because the members of the party are happy that somebody said what everybody in the party is thinking.

In this case, a huge portion of the Republican party hopes that Obama fails. In short, if he succeeds it will show that by doing the polar opposite of what all of these assholes believe is the holy grail, it will essentially show how flawed their line of thinking is. The current set of disasters should already do that, but they are still in disbelief and don't want to admit to themselves that they casused this.

His audience base is old and dying. Without a younger generation to hear his words. Besides how many young people even listen to AM stations? Republicans have long benefited from Limbaugh's garbage while keeping themselves out of the muck. Its time for them to either endorse Limbaugh or oppose him. If they endorse, they are stuck with all the garbage Limbaugh says, which is far worse than Reverend Wright. Its all lies and hatred. If they denounce Limbaugh, Limbaugh will turn the base against them.

If we can sever Limbaugh from the GOP, he'll look powerless. That will depress his fans and they'll leave him. For Limbaugh's scam to work, he must look like he's in authority to his followers. He also must be able to frighten anybody who speaks out against him. If everybody speaks out against him, he'll lose the threat that hides his hate spreading lies.
