CBS News - Feb. 3, 2009: In the wake of an Iraqi journalist launching his shoe at former Pres. Bush, many protesters are now adopting this practice in defiance of authority. Richard Roth reports on this growing trend.

2. I just noticed something very strange

I was looking at the original shoe-throwing incident, and I saw something I hadn't noticed before.



The guy standing next to Fuckface is looking right at the guy throwing the shoes, but he doesn't duck. He does, heroically, albeit rather half-heartedly, try to catch the second shoe, but doesn't seem at all bothered by what is happening.

I find that pretty odd. Isn't one's first instinct when things go flying to duck?

Did they know what was going to happen?
