I used to go to this guy's bar. Once I found out his views, I stopped going. It's really too bad he's such a chump. He's got a really neat set up with horseshoes and fireplaces. This is Oklahoma. This is what I expect. Was watching an hbo doc about the integration of college football in the south and the resistance it met in Mississippi and Alabama and what not and I thought this is my state today! In my mind those were the backwards states of the time fighting the civil rights movement. But now, I live in the most backwards non-progressive state in the union. Not one county carried Obama in November. Not one! Being a long haired, atheist, democratic socialist type I deal with this kind of ignorance on a daily basis and it shocks me in the least. Furthermore I wouldn't doubt that Oklahoma has the highest amount of repressed homosexuals per capita. It tickles me pink every time a televangelist or top notch Republican gets caught in some homosexual act, for these are the types that make me cringe at raising my daughter here. And they're everywhere. Don't look for any new and progressive ideas to come from this state. Even if an Oklahoman comes up with something brilliant he or she will not express this idea in Oklahoma. This is the asscrack of america and it prefers to wipe itself with the United States constitution.
