2. Oh, this video is just chock full of goodies.
Krugman is right, and I suppose those of us with Blue Dog Democratic or Republican representation need to call them and tell them that we're onto their game and that more failed policy will lead to more failure and the loss of their cushy jobs.

3. Tax cuts, even to the middle class, will do nothing to create demand because.....
the immediate thinking these days is "I'm not buying anything because I may need my money (whatever small amount I may have) to hold me over in case I lose my job"...

Consumer confidence is gone. They've killed the goose that lays the golden egg.

The only thing that will get this economy going again is spending, by the government, on infrastructure of every stripe creating jobs in the process and slowly rebuilding consumer and citizen confidence......

6. Think Traffic Analogy:
Imagine what would happen if you removed all the Stop signs and Red lights. It would make some happy for a while but in the end you'll have one hell of a crash and chaos will ensue.

She was troubled by yesterday's Krugman discussion that things not doing what they should; she lost sleep about it, and had a great segment today, Thursday, called 'show me the money.'
