They were lied to repeatedly by their priests and ministers. They trusted their religious leaders and their religious leaders violated that sacred trust. The Catholic Church, the Evangelical Churches, and the Mormon cult committed a grave moral evil.

That this was the first time in the history of this country that rights were actually taken away from a minority group.

In some ways, it hasn't really sunk in for me, either.
