2. Yep. My grandparents were Mennonite and lived in an Amish community

most Mennonites and Amish vote Democratic and strongly believe in helping their neighbors (wow, what a radical Christian concept, huh)? The Amish philosophy is; "live simply, and take no more from the earth than you will need to sustain yourself, your family, and your closest neighbors". By many standards they might be considered "radical environmentalists".

4. Yes. They now have their own Norweigian Elkhound who adores them

she even brings her favorite toys to them, but they haven't figured out how to toss them for her yet. ;-) I really miss them, especially William Chat-Noir. He was such a love sponge!

I adopted another kitty; a five month old blue DSH-he looks like he's part Oriental. He's very loving towards me, but he HATES my other cats. So I have to find a new home for him. I got him as a buddy for Pip, and that has really not worked out! :-(
