Obama stops to shake hands with the guarding Marine as he boards his first Marine One flight. Video includes the full boarding as well as the takeoff.

There were at least 8 men already on board before he entered. At least 12 followed. It is likely that a total of 20 are on board any Marine One flight. In addition, there are decoy Marine One's at all times flying in formation.
