6. did he put MSNBC (Matthews and Schuster in particular) on this list ...
... at some point this week? they've been lying on a faux news level this week, so it's only fair that he put them on blast as well. or is he afraid to point out right wing propaganda when it's coming from his co-workers?

9. how am I a troll? so you agree with them repeating the right wing hack Halprin's lies
so you're saying Matthews and Schuster weren't repeating Halprin's lies on Obama's approval ratings all week? msnbc isn't above acting like the other corporate media.

10. I'm sorry. I changed that after I reread your post. I realized that
one need not be a troll to criticize Matthews and Shuster for their reporting. Sometimes they do repeat drunken Beltway chatter. However, I'm wondering if you've got any specifics in mind. :hi:

11. here

halprin starts a lie and they repeat it all week. and this is a big deal if you see that the goal of the media is to help knock down obama's approval ratings (allowing him to do it on his own isn't fast enough) so they can go to work. the only thing holding them back right now is the fact that people like him. they need to chip away at that.

16. Johann Sebastion Bach...
Edited on Sat Feb-07-09 01:45 PM by badgerpup
His very last piece, in fact.

Popular legend is that he held off Death just long enough to finish it...then collapsed at the keyboard.

Not sure if this is true, but it sorta fits with the music...

18. I love it!
Fox "News" has "never tolerated facts". Freudian slip maybe? All I know is they finally told the truth about something, who cares how it happened!

19. i was disappointed. i looked up that murdoch quote.
Edited on Mon Feb-09-09 02:04 PM by ellenfl
what he said was that he 'never tolerated fat'. he was talking about the financial hit he had taken.

Then, in grave tones, chief executive and chairman Rupert Murdoch came on, offering a bleak outlook mixed with confidence to manage through it.

Murdoch: “This is the worst global economic crisis since News Corp. (nyse: NWS - news - people ) was created and has been deeper than anyone predicted. We’ve reduced headcount and cut other costs. Even in flush times, this was never a company that tolerated fat. So we’re well positioned to handle this crisis right now. This why the WSJ is the only newspaper growing or why social networking is becoming mainstream. We never feared change and risk. We’re putting all our business through rigorous strategic reviews.”

Forbes

i thought the misquote by keith was sloppy.
