Did you honestly believe that HE honestly believed that the Rethugs would fall in love with his idea of "bipartisanship?" If Obama were THAT stupid, he never would have made it past being a community organizer!

He's given them enough rope to hang themselves, and now he can reel him in. The finishing blow would be to do what he did in the wake of the Rev. Wright scandal--go directly to the people and succinctly explain why the Rethug idea of a stimulus bill WON'T WORK.
