1. I have to agree about the 'not looking back' comments.

*Bush and company set a precedent that should not stand. Not prosecuting Bush will leave us open to even worse abuses in the future. Remember any future authoritarian Presidency is going to START where *Bush left off. Not a good precedent to have.

unfortunately saw it coming too. I understand Obama's reasoning, but Cenk's point remains essential. A precedent needs to be set that unequivocally states that Bush-regime type lawbreaking will not be tolerated in our nation's future.

Other than that Cenk's analysis is spot on as always. Thanks for posting this Ihavenobias. I saw your link to the facebook page for TYT and joined immediately. One of the best commentators out there in my opinion. Would LOVE to see him on MSNBC.

the way I see it, caving to the thugs is not being bipartisan.

And for his answer to the prosecution of bush and 'dick', it didn't sound like he is willing to prosecute these criminals. He should, we executed people for the very same things these guys did.

8. My hatred of Bush and Cheney has absolutely no limits.

Under the guise of phony patriotism, they have abuse our military. Sadly, often with the assistance of their high ranking commanders who have become little more than political ideologues who could give a damn less about some kid getting maimed or killed. I am sorry but I don't hold as much enthusiasm for the military, especially the higher ranking offices, as some. I believe that they are pose a threat at all times to be seeking a military solution every problem.

That said just how beneficial would it be to for President Obama to push for bringing Bush and Cheney's before an investigation at this early juncture in his administration? I believe that he should not become personally involved, but allow the proper authorities to pursue investigations unimpeded.

This is exactly opposite of the tactics used of the Bush administration. Their cover-ups relied sole on launching smear campaigns to hide their incompetence and outright illegal activities. President Obama present position seems to me to be presidential in that he can take the high road and not appear to be engaging in a crusade of vindictiveness and revenge. That was exactly what were that tactics of the last administrating. His toy will show that Bush and Cheney were never presidential. They were nothing more than mafia thugs and will go down in history as being little more than fascist tacticians that brought their country to the brink of ruin. I believe that they may be regard as being nearly as vile as the Nazis even before their demise.
