Building a school is very different from educating the occupants. He cost America BILLIONS in job creation. This clown needs to be sent into retirement.

To defend them as ok was ridiculous but politically necessary considering the vote isn't done yet. He could have said "Look they had us by the balls and we had to concede some things that would have helped the country but hurt their party. That's the way it is. We can't call them out and let them filibuster because the people suffer in the meantime. We care too much about the people to not do something because immediate action is needed and the opposition party doesn't care at all, they'll happily let them suffer to get what they want. We'll just pick these programs up in subsequent bills anyway."

But that wouldn't have been politically astute.

I'm thinking Kansas is just lucky to have an even "pretend Democrat" representing them. We are talking about another state that is largely rural and traditionally "red state" in it's political stand.
