Dawkins describes seven of the most amazing phenomena in the world. Some of this material is discussed in his books "the Extended Phenotype", "the Blind Watchmaker", and "Climbing Mount Improbable".

My reason for posting this here is that it widens our outlook, fills us with wonder for the natural world, supports science and reason, makes us realize the use of putting public money into the sciences, protection of the environment, and scientific communication. Let us not let the flame of reason gutter and go out in this time of uncertainty and fear.

4. This guy is top notch.

I think he taught at Berkeley and I saw him give about a 2 hour lecture on C-Span. Excellent.
