For those of you that have seen the movie, Die hard with a Vengeance . . . what they do with John McCalin at the beginning of the movie is exactly what they should do with the Sheriff. For those of you that haven't seen it . . . trust me. It's the BEST idea foe this guy.

3. You know what scares me, upon looking at that parade?

I look at those MCSO officers and I see more than a few of them who are *clearly* steroid users/abusers. My friend, the former NJSP Det. Sgt. First Class, told me that nothing scared him so much as cops using steroids and it was the #1 reason he retired, because it was so widespread in the NJSP.

And then, the other night, I got to talking to a guy in a bright yellow Smart car. Turns out he was an Essex County K9 officer, very high ranking and a real veteran. The conversation started because I was drooling on his car, but ranged widely. He agreed with what my friend had said, and that he was retiring soon, glad to put all these young, steroidal local college criminal justice graduates behind him. It was his opinion they were rude, nasty, elitist and not worth a bucket of spit. Ouote: "What good can you say about a bunch of 30 year olds who make 85,000 a year and still live at home with their parents?"
