1. Burris and Blago and how we react to them are proof positive of the difference between R and D. |
|
If they were R, the rubes would all be flocking to them crying foul based on party loyalty over ethics.

2. That is not a bad thing |
|
Party loyalty over ethics is unacceptable. I am proud to be associated with the party you describe.

Did I come off as saying we are doing a bad thing?
Party loyalty over ethics breeds malaise at best and extreme corruption at worst. Simple logic.

5. Would the R's be so stupid as to accept his appointment under those circumstances? |
|
I don't like the R worldview, but the R's aren't weak and stupid. They'd not be so weak and stupid as put impeachment "off the table" when a case for impeachment was so clear as the case given to the D's, nor would they be so stupid as to be snookered by a weasel like Blago. Actually I think Blago snookered the D's by playing on their so amply demonstrated spinelessness - like shooting fish in a barrel.

Blago is impeached and the D's are about to get rid of "his guy".
Yep...like shooting fish in a barrel. Snookered alright! :eyes:

|
in the first place,as I listened to him go on and on about how he had his friends calling asking for him to be placed in the seat. He talks too much.
