u betcha , we do need alot of money here in mi. , i live in northern mi. and the people up here are hurting bad , most of our income comes from people who live down state and come north to vacation , or remodel there cottages up here , all our contractors are out of work , i can't think of 1 buiness up here that is'nt hurting , so bring the money on , and make sure there are no middle men stealing it befor it reaches the places of need

Weasel Wallace had just pointed out that SC had the third highest unemployment rate in the country, which begs the question, "What the fuck does that dipstick know about how jobs are created?" Not much, it would seem.

4. As a Michigander, I can tell you that Granholm rocks. She inherited

A fiscal mess from her predecessor, Rushpubelicken John Engler. In addition to that, Michigan is a state that has had all it's eggs in one basket for a long time, long before she came along. Her efforts have been herculean and she's always having to fight rushpubelicken's at the state level too. She's looking forward toward new technologies and training of displaced workers for a sustainable long term fix. She believes education is of the utmost importance.

5. She and Rendell both did great jobs of presenting their cases

And I loved when Sanford cynically stated that "every President of the last 25 years has promised to lower the deficit" to which Rendell replied with a smile, "the last one that did was a Democrat."
