1. Yawn

I would call this more of a waste of time than a bleak warning. I was expecting something a bit out of the ordinary here. "Nothing drastic, but it is getting warmer". Okay, stop the presses, nobody has pointed that out before.

I will say one thing about that is actually good about the war and good about our economy failing. Basically, you can see the disastrous effects immediately, showing exactly just how much damage that this administration has caused. I believe that the last administration has done some major damage in 3 areas, with the environment being the 3rd area. Sadly, unlike the economy and wars, where you can see the damage directly, the same can not be said about the environment.

Bleak does not equal "drastic" btw.

This is more of an update for those who are concerned and possibly a learning experience for those who don't know about the subject matter.

5. WHO CARES

SORRY, I just wanted to go along with the mood here! This stuff is the only thing left in the world I care about but I know it helps to keep a sense of humor when the future is pure shit. I try to remember to laugh not cry but I've seen this story a few times since early yesterday, it makes me sick.

6. I know exactly what you mean.

I'm an environmental consultant/conservationist and it's necessary to be optimistic otherwise I might as well give up. It is easier to be more optimistic now Obama has taken over, though. I lost my mojo before the election and am slowly getting it back...

For real.. it's been such a depressing century.
Now I need to get some Hope back. at least I know what it feels like again. Maybe I ought to turn off the news for a day or two lol
