2. I would only watch mccain for
Cenk and I'm glad I saw that clip. I had only read about it and had an entirely different view.

My first impression was how respectful mccain was..thanks for the post.

3. K&R, it's about time they started to cut waste in the military budget.

4. The problem with that is...
...the Repubics have demonstrated that, as a whole, they are completely unwilling to be useful in any positive manner for this adminstration.

5. I really like Cenk because he understands the big picture....

It's important for Obama to have at least 5-6 Republican Senators backing him on all issues. That gives us a super majority on everything and means that we can pass whatever the fuck we want for at least 4 years.

6. I agree with Cenk...
...and I thought so when I first saw the clip: McCain was respectful and brought up the topic with a good demeanor throughout. I did not get so far as Cenk's analysis of Republican "cover" for cuts to military spending, but I have to agree with that too.

In fact it was rather jarring to read a post here on DU saying that McCain was "snide" or something to that effect. I just didn't see it.

7. Haven't seen the snide post....
I actually think that McCain is in on the joke. He did practically throw his entire campaign by picking Palin right? I'm still in the tin foil minority that believes McCain never wanted to win. He knows the score. He knows his side is on the wrong side of history. John McCain is not a stupid man.

8. Interesting theory...
...and sometimes I, too, think it's all one big clique at that level, with levers being pulled that the rest of us don't even suspect.

Sigh. Well, let's hope that for once, they pull together and pull us out of the current tailspin. That would be a good start!

9. I can see Cenk's point about cover
but I still think that was a failed attempt at a 'gotcha' question by McCain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc2O71pNHvI">Watching the "Angry, sore loser" a few weeks ago reaffirmed my suspicions about how he's going to be behaving during Obama's presidency.

:kick: & R for Cenk's optimism, though.

10. They should start with *Bush's Presidential Yacht.
How much did repugs spend to retrofit and restore that piece of pork?

11. K&R Worth listening to, but,
I have to say that this is only one version of McCrazy. I don't trust him at all.
