1. Ummm,,, wow...
There are just no words for what I'm feeling right now. I believed we had been plunged into the dark ages with the last eight years of a fascist, warmongering machine. Now I see that coming to an end at last. Now I see a REAL President...

2. Not impressed --- keeping 50,000 in Iraq
...
The AP adds, "Obama also said that between 35,000 and 50,000 troops will initially remain there to help train Iraqi forces and undertake counter-terrorism missions."

6. I have no problem with leaving 50,000 for a year or two...
In fact, I never expect to see a day in my lifetime where there aren't 10,000 US Servicemen stationed in Iraq. To this day we still have 35,000 in South Korea. The idea that we're just going to up and leave with no boots on the ground is ridiculous. We can however transition into a very small prsvr keeping non combat brigade.

Kindly fuck off, eh. And take that faux concern with you.

7. Not fast enough to suit me, but it's progress.
And he's not spoiling for a new war with Iran like that stupendous warmonger McCain, either.
