Some of you may already have seen this video, and it is a couple of years old... but I think it bears renewed interest... as Obama calls upon CONGRESS to "get it in gear"! America's kids (and I use that term affectionately, being nearly 60 yrs old myself)... are presently drowning in a sea of competition, and they don't even know it.
IMO: we've already lost a generation, because our educational system is so BACKWARD (compared to many other nations of the world). If OUR KIDS (and I have 3 of my own, with five grandchildren to boot) are going to be able to compete, for the BEST JOBS... we need to do something about at least "leveling the playing field" (if not surpassing other nations' educational endeavors). We need to DO IT NOW, not in five, ten, or twenty years!
