Decent Americans should be shocked and ashamed for remarks Rep Virginia Foxx NC made about Matthew Shepard's death in front of his mother on the floor of congress. We are a society with many beautiful ideas and principles. Our diversity should the source of our unity.

One might think me hypocritical because I do go on the offensive, and quite well I might add, with haters of a certain ilk.

There are mainly a small number of powerful Republicans now, nationwide, who do not care about anyone but themselves.

It would seem they have lost their souls in pursuit of greed power-lusting, leaving behind those not like them

If we continue to war with one another, with hate falling from our lips, demonizing others, we shall disintegrate as a nation.

With this said, there have been and are a number of GOP women in my life, wonderful, intelligent and principled. Sometimes you have to be the heart that rules.

Please be direct and decent with those in your life.
