Me also thinks that the CIA might have skimped on the details and Pelosi may not have asked specific questions, but she knew that "enhanced interrogation techniques" were being used.

Oversight. Congress (or the specific committees, anyway) is supposed to be keeping an eye on them. The CIA isn't covering their bases. If it were up to them they wouldn't tell anyone a F'ing thing. They did the briefings because they HAVE TO. I believe they are legally required to provide them.

Most Democrats in Congress knew as well but yet never pushed for impeachment or accountability until now that they are feeling some heat.
