She lays it out plain as day: they tortured to gather (fake) information on links between Iraq and Al Qaeda. Also as she notes, these interrogations were not to protect us from imminent attacks, which was the single circumstance which the notorious torture memos said was "legal".

so with all this evidence coming to light...is anything going to be done? r we ever going to bring the bushies to court and try them? or are they so powerful that no one can touch them...they all remain above the law as far as i can see...bush n his buddies lied america into a war...where thousands of people have been killed and even more displaced...does anyone here actually think bush/cheney/rumsfield et al; will ever be held accountable for these heinous acts? im not gonna hold my breath...

35. The special prosecutor in the USA case has questioned Rove

and indictments are likely to start flowing soon. This stuff takes time, and every i must be dotted just right. But, one does wonder.
I take solace knowing that Bush controlled the DoJ until late Jan., and not much time has passed since the transition.

Imagine how difficult this must be for AG Holder!
