2. There were only 3 people in the whole world that they needed to waterboard
:sarcasm:

at the link provided I think the best explanation is that the Abu Gharib photos brought too much attention to what they were actually doing AND the CIA started refusing to do it anymore.

7. Murders!
At least eight detainees of the roughly 100 who have died in US military custody in Iraq and Afghanistan were tortured to death, human rights lawyers have said in a new report.

"These are detainees who were beaten, suffocated or otherwise died in circumstances that meet the definition of torture that is in the federal law that bans the practice," said Hina Shamsi, a lawyer for New York-based Human Rights First and author of the report.

3. Perhaps they finally got total snoop working
or working enough.

If you are cynical enough to use torture confessions, then you are cynical enough to sieve everyones' email for
a phrase that 'proves' your point.

Not hard to do when you have a splitter on the fiber and unlimited flops.
FNORD.

4. Why do these GOP pro-torture people
keep saying that their "EIT"s worked? Where is that proof? Why hasn't that line of bullshit been smacked down once and for all? The fact that were even having that debate about whether torture worked or not is totally beside the point. Torture is wrong and shouldn't be done at all.

potential threats to the United States wouldn't have been valuable. I see.... It all makes sense when that Republican strategist explains it. NONsense.

I can't think of a better reason for winding up the CIA. Cain't get no valuable info no more. Not even valuable false info under torture!!!!! Oh, me! Oh, my! Savonarola, thou shoulds't be living now. Well over the last five years.

18. This is also how the DOJ can prove that Bush/Cheney knew using torture was wrong and illegal.
Edited on Sun May-17-09 09:06 AM by Wizard777
Their own condemnations of Saddam Hussein's uses of torture.
