2. Very interesting -- I pretty much figured Bush admin/Bush Admin CIA briefers held back and didn't
worry too much about the truth. Thanks for finding and posting.

3. Sen. Widen is not equal to Rep. Pelosi briefing comments.
Haven't we discussed this before?

You want a hyphen (-) not an equals sign (=)

Drives me nuts (admittedly doesn't take much).

Dick Cheynry - not a fatuous asshole: good.

In the first case you are equating. In the second, you are attributing. Am I getting through? A little? Need more help? I'm patient. We can work this out. Just gimme some kind of sign.

former director of the FBI about why he approved of his agency pulling out of dealing with detainees. And the answer will be because they didn't agree with the flagrant use of torture because they ARE the federal investigating arm of the law... and if a law is being broken, they cannot be a party to it. They are bound to apply the law, not ignore it.

What Pelosi knew or didn't know back in 2002 is non sequitur. She wasn't in a position to do anything about what she knew. She wasn't the speaker, and the dems weren't in power. The question now becomes: why did the thugs conspire with cheney, addington, yoo and the cia back when they could have acted in an upright and honorable way and shut down cheney, addington, yoo and the cia. They chose to put politics above the law and now they are reaping the consequences of their actions.

and addled brained bond needs to lay off the damb booze already.
