6. Andrea--all you need to do is to talk to Mueller, the

former director of the FBI about why he approved of his agency pulling out of dealing with detainees. And the answer will be because they didn't agree with the flagrant use of torture because they ARE the federal investigating arm of the law... and if a law is being broken, they cannot be a party to it. They are bound to apply the law, not ignore it.

What Pelosi knew or didn't know back in 2002 is non sequitur. She wasn't in a position to do anything about what she knew. She wasn't the speaker, and the dems weren't in power. The question now becomes: why did the thugs conspire with cheney, addington, yoo and the cia back when they could have acted in an upright and honorable way and shut down cheney, addington, yoo and the cia.
