1. I am so sick and damn tired of this

"END THE FED!!!!1!!!one" bullshit. Honestly, we have bigger things to worry about than the FED. Can we at least, as a BARE MINIMUM, get the economy back on its feet before we completely re-design the ENTIRE system? Quite frankly, I see this as just more alarmist hype.

2. That was an interesting video

The Federal Reserve System is something I've been interested in for quite some time, thanks for posting the video series. So what is the alternative to the Federal Reserve system? If we are going to print our own money, why do we pay interest on the money we print? It seems to me that the congress could coin our money instead of the private Federal Reserve Bank, and lend it to our own government and citizens at zero interest. Creating money out of thin air, and paying interest to a private bank makes no sense to me. Can anybody here explain why we even need the Federal Reserve Banks?
