The United Nations is leading a powerful new campaign to encourage governments to seal the deal on a fair, balanced and effective agreement on climate change when they meet at the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, in December 2009. There are many reasons why we need to seal the deal on a new climate change agreement and in this series, UN officials will look at how climate change is affecting various aspects of human development and how we can do something about it.
