Great segment from Olbermann's show, featuring good discussion from Jon Soltz, chairman of votevets.org.

8. Paper ballots won't fix anything
Elections are not the solution as long as we still have a two-party system.

11. I haven't seen any evidence that the Democrats
are going to do anything to change the way things work. Corporations own both parties. Is any Democrat seriously talking about limiting the influence of corporations?

What do you define as a significant difference between the parties?

2. "We just drive around, waiting to get shot...."
Wow. That says it all about the great Bush Administration strategy in Iraq.

3. best line in the whole interview
"And here come the people in Washington who have never had the courage to fight for this country, they stand up and they say "well, we're going to be here for 50 year or indefinitely....only 1% of the Iraqi population supports an American presence in Iraq."

There has been more truth spoken to power in the last couple of days... is there a sea change afoot?

4. that just makes me sick
We are abandoning them. And when I see the President say things like its our "destiny" I think we are allowing a mad-man to continue killing our men and women.

5. the more I see and hear from vetvote.org
the more I like... they truly speak truth to power. Loved his closing lines about "waste of space" liberman's purpose for even going over there.

7. Lieberman is a Bush ally, that is why he doesn't listen!
Whether Bush and Lieberman agreed or disagreed with the soldiers, they really see no reason to listen to their concerns. They are merely puppets in their wet dream world of a democratic Iraq. I have to thank our Ct. Dems who voted for the asshole. Even though I hope all of you rot in hell.
